CHILD SAFETY AND PROTECTION

have a Criminal Background Screening. We also verify personal

2. Children are released to the person that has the scan
card that matches the one that the child is wearing. In
addition, they must also present the pager that was given to
them upon checking in the child. If the parent or guardian has
lost their scan card or pager, the volunteer will not release
the child without first getting the approval of the Children’s
Ministry Director, Assistant Children’s Director, Check-in
Coordinator, or the Nursery Director.
3. The vibrating pager assigned to each Nursery Parent and
child, is used to summon the parent if necessary.
4. Our volunteers work on a “buddy system”, which places
no less than 2 volunteers in a room with a child at any given
time. |
