SCHOOL AND CHILDREN’S WORSHIP
The Abundant Life Baptist Church’s state-of-the-art children’s
facility allows leaders to teach kids in new and innovative ways.
Our school age
ministry uses an exciting curriculum model called the Workshop
Rotation. Educational research shows that children learn by doing.
When learning takes place in this type of environment, children are
better able to process, retain and apply information.
This is how it works…..
Kids will get to
enjoy a children’s church lesson and then a workshop activity.
In children’s church, they will worship with music, and then
experience a lesson about that month’s topic. After children’s
church, the kids will go with their Sunday school teacher to a
workshop room. They will visit a different room each week. In these
rooms, there will be a review of the lesson and Bible verse for the
month as well as an interactive lesson that provides kids the
opportunity to have fun while they learn. By the end of the
month, the children will have received four different lessons about
a particular topic and have participated in four related activities.
